Houlton Regional Hospital

Houlton Regional Hospital (HRH) is a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) and is the largest employer in the area with 405 employees. The physician practices include Family Practice, Pain Management, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Urology, Podiatry and General Surgery Services, as well as specialty services in our Outpatient Clinics. With its own helipad and Lifeflight services, specialty emergency care is just moments away.

Katahdin Valley Health Center

Katahdin Valley Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 5 locations in northern Maine, including Houlton.  KVHC provides services on an income-based sliding-fee schedule to patients for their out of pocket costs making this option very affordable. The clinic include dental and optometry services.

John Millar Civic Center

As a part of Houlton’s Parks and Recreation Department, the John Millar Civic Center exists as a community space for citizens of all ages to come and enjoy themselves.

Thankful for the Houlton Rec Department and their generosity to our Special Olympics basketball team. The staff is always supportive and goes out of their way to ensure we have a space to practice each week during our season. Much gratitude from all of us!
