“I feel so lucky to be part of the local Rotary club. I didn’t know much about it when I joined in 2014, but it has been one of the most enriching experiences I have had living here in Houlton.

Whether we are all wearing our “Rotarian at Work” t-shirts and carrying E-waste together while sweating in the hot sun, or we’re working hard answering the phones at the Annual Rotary Auction, or we’re handing out popsicles at McGill’s Band night in the Park, we are working together to enhance our wonderful community and make it an even more vibrant, richer place to live.

And as I look around me after working long hours at an event, I realize I have made all of these amazing friends who I get to see and work with again. This definitely creates an overall joie de vivre for me, and makes me appreciate and love this town even more.”
